Winter Schedule Mondays: Bedminster Location: Group Singing, 6:00-6:45. Students will enjoy performing with other singers and also be able to perform their own solo work. We will study contemporary, pop, jazz, blues, and rock. In addition, we will perform in local venues such as restaurants and hospitals for those who wish to participate. Chester Location: Children’s Group Commercial/TV Acting Class, 6:30-7:15. Students will be introduced to all elements of non-theatrical acting in a fun, and educational setting. Commercials, television scripting, and monologues will be introduced. Students will be filmed and have their work broadcasted on our site. We will have opportunities for them to audition and meet industry professionals if they want. This is a class that is meant for those who want more confidence and better public speaking skills as well. We will actually film in various locations and produce our own on line commercials for businesses in the area. (See our website for more info!) We have already filmed at places like Volkswagen, Cold Stone Creamery, and Golf Zone. Wednesdays: Bedminster Location at the Wellness Center: 4:45-6:15 PM. High School Musical 3. That’s right, it is now here as a class! You saw it in a movie, and now you can sing, dance, and act it out! Your child will have a blast in this course! They will be exposed to acting in a very real way! We become the characters and teach the latest songs and moves in a basic format. The script is re-written to accommodate all levels of students. We do require an audition so we can place your child in the appropriate group. There are 3 levels. 5-7yrs, and 8-11yrs. and 12 through teen. If a child can already do the skills for their age, we sometimes place in a more advanced group. We will provide the script, music, and a basic costume. A show will conclude the class. Everyone gets a part! Bedminster Location: Teen Comedy/Commercial Class: 7-8:00 PM. Students 11 yr. and up will be exposed to various topics in theatrical acting as well as commercials, scripting, monologues, and performing skills. We self produce some of our own work and also practice auditioning for local, state, and national completions. Some of our students have been featured on our local Cable Vision station. We have filmed at Verizon, Cold Stone Creamery, and will be at Hoop Heaven! The class is a real hit for kids who want to do something local and learn all avenues of the communication industry of media both in television, film, and internet. This popular class has been noted in the media as “an innovative class” for kids; reaching them where they are at in the arts and technology combined! Everyone gets a demo reel at the end! Thursdays: Bedminster Location at the Wellness Center: 6:00-7:30 PM. Camp Rock! We are now offering the latest Disney hit that is out on DVD! Students will participate in acting and singing to the latest Jonas Brother’s movie that we are making into a play! This course covers all levels of acting. Students are exposed to character study, scene development, musical performance, and singing instruction. Auditions are required since there are 3 groups, 5-7yrs, 8-11yrs, and 12 through teen. We provide the script, music, and a basic costume. A show will conclude the class. Everyone gets a part! Bedminster Location: 6:30-7:15 PM, Group Singing. Students will be exposed to a wide range of styles of music; jazz, blues, rock, classical, Broadway, and pop music. Various venues will be available for students who wish to perform in hospitals and restaurants. Fridays: Chester Location: 6:00-7:30 PM. High School Musical 3. That’s right, now the movie is a class! We re-wrote the script to make your favorite characters come alive! In this fun and educational course you will learn how to act, sing, and dance. The class covers all elements of acting; scene study, character development, musical performance, and singing. We hold auditions for placement purposes. Everyone gets a part! Bedminster Location at the Wellness Center: 6:00-7:30. High School Musical 3. Course is the exact same as other HS Musical 3 classes. Audition required. Everyone gets a part! Saturdays: Bedminster Location: 11:00-12:00. Pre-School ages 4-6yrs. Broadway Babes! This is a course designed by the director and owner of Creative Endeavors, Christine Verdun. This course was created to promote reading readiness in a creative way to intrigue the young minds of pre-school children to inspire them to want to read. After trying the program on her own pre-school son who is now 6yr, she found that the class promotes a desire to express, which therefore creates a “reading ready” mind. All of this is done through dance, acting, and singing Broadway songs. Bedminster Location: 12:00-1:00 PM. Pre-teen and Teen Comedy Class- Film, Television, and Commercial acting will be discussed in detail. This course is open to ages 11yrs and up. We will film and produce our own commercials in the community. Some students will be featured on Cable Vision as well as other on- line media.
